Stop looking at me
I have my own eyes to see
I’m in love with a she
And I don’t give a damm
You want me to shout
What I’m all about
All my cloths are on the floor
I won’t think twice anymore
Mostly I don’t get what say all the rest
I probably was raised in a parallel world
Everyday I’m surprised to understand the underlines
Don’t we all want to break loose?
Break these chains
Break these chains
Dance you wicked demon
You’re free
Shoot the starts
Dance you wicked demon
Break these chains
Stop looking at me
I still have eyes that see
That nothing here stays that long
Everything is temporary, so is my mind
We all fly in time
Break these chains
I’m tiered of life being in my way
Break these chains
Dance you wicked demon
You’re free
Shoot the stars
Dance you wicked demon
Break these chains

This is Daniela Spector's 2009 debut album, which earned her quite some attention in Israel. The reason is quite obvious: Sarah Spector is not only blessed with a great voice, but she's an excellent songwriter and arranger, too. Actually, this releaee doesn't sound like a debut album at all, given its high degree of homogeneity and its opulent sound. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
This NYC quartet channels the anxious, experimental nature of late '90s-early '00s Olympia indie rock in their tense, rhythmic post-punk. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 8, 2016
