I don’t know what the lady had planned
I was brought down here with my two hands
I don’t quite understand if it’s right or wrong
To use my intuition to carry on
If I grow strong
If I grow strong
If I grow strong then I’ll make it
I don’t know what the lady had planned
I was brought down here with no demands
I don’t quite understand what all this is for
So I’ll keep singing my worried thoughts
Should I have the faith in a long gone tape?
Everything today has no strings on
I don’t quite understand if it’s all ok
I’m done thinking, done making plans
The sun easy dives into others land
Blacken our heaven will she come again?
This is Daniela Spector's 2009 debut album, which earned her quite some attention in Israel. The reason is quite obvious: Sarah Spector is not only blessed with a great voice, but she's an excellent songwriter and arranger, too. Actually, this releaee doesn't sound like a debut album at all, given its high degree of homogeneity and its opulent sound. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
This NYC quartet channels the anxious, experimental nature of late '90s-early '00s Olympia indie rock in their tense, rhythmic post-punk. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 8, 2016
